- Both day and nights are almost equally hot and humid. Skin feels sticky due to high humidity.
- Marked by high rainfall. It rains almost every day at any time without any predictions.
- Day temperatures are high with very high humidity whereas night temperatures are lower but the humidity remains high.
Climate of the Ganga Brahmaputra plains:
- Dominated by monsoon climate.
- The monsoon brings rains from mid-June to mid-September.
- Summers are hot and winters cool.
