A very warm good morning to all. Respected teacher, and all my dear frndz. Today I am going to present a speech. The topic is "Science and Technology ". Science has so much engulfed our lives that nothing can take place in our day to day work without the help of science. Our food, transport, learning, administration, recreation and social life are all linked with science in various ways. The aim of science is to search for truth, and to know things that lay, unrevealed. Great discoveries are a result of reasoning. A lot of patience and observation are also required.The invention of the simple wheel has resulted in our modern industrialization. Electricity, as a source of energy, has revolutionized the world. Radios, TVs and cinemas which entertain us are all the products of science. So, a common man has to conclude that science is a boon to mankind.Industrialization with the aid of science has polluted air, water, food and the atmosphere. The ozone layer is giving threatening signals. So, here is a case for us to consider science as a cause of ruin. Humans have always been able to conquer and take control of all other creatures in the world. So, let us believe that our wisdom will prevail and that we can reason out for the well-being of our planet. When the universe reveals more secrets to man by means of science, there is hope that the present man will soon become a superman and eventually science would only be a boon and not a bane of his life.

Science without conscience is death of the soul.

Technology has been progressing at an astonishingly rapid rhythm, and it has been changing our lives in a scaring way. In the future, our lives might change even more, with several benefits and dangers of technological advances. Everything evolves around 3 concepts: technology, science and future. So now arises the question: will this technology advance make society better or worse off? On the one hand, several benefits will make society better off. For example, advances in cosmetic surgery will lead to people being highly satisfied with their personal appearance and happiness among society will be increased. For example, people that feel ugly and cant find a couple will now be able do it with facial metamorphosis, and they wont be depressed anymore. In conclusion, societys welfare and happiness will be increased by cosmetic surgery. Another example is genetically modified food. The ability to modify the foods gens will allow crops to grow faster. This will lead to higher amounts of food being produced at lower prices. As a consequence, worlds hunger rates will be dramatically reduced, with higher nutrition rates taking place. In conclusion, genetically modified food will affect positively human hunger and nutrition rates. Lastly, human lives will also be benefited by another important technological advancement: animal clonation. Species extinction will be reduced or even stopped, as well as hunger rates to the increase in supply of food. To sum up, animal clonation will solve some of the key issues which are actually part of the worlds daily agenda. Overall, human life will be changed in a very positive way by advancements such as the mentioned before and some actual key issues wont exist anymore.

However, technology might also bring severe dangers to human life, being societys welfare not maximized and in a very extreme case, humans might be extinct.

Just imagine the mic I am holding and the speakers here were not there. It would have been difficult for me to speak and for you to listen. You see technology just saved my throat.

Good morning to the august gathering. I "name" of class 10th A is going to present a speech on this auspicious occasion of "ABC". The topic of my speech is science and technology.

First of all we must know what are "science" and "technology" independently. Science as mentioned by oxford is the study of the physical world, based on observation, experiments and researches. While technology is the application of the scientific knowledge for practical purposes. Science and technology are deeply interrelated. One cannot survive without the other. 

Science and technology together play a very precious and significant role in developing a country's economy. They are a prominent part of the mankind. Science, technology and development are all proportional to each other.

Science . Well Science holds the key to our future.It is the most powerful tool that we have .Everything our society is today is due to scientific advancement. Without it, we'd still be sitting in guttering candlelight in drafty houses ravaged by disease with an average life expectancy of 45.Science has made our lives comfortable -less diseases, more medicines ,less manual work ,more useful results and many more.

Science has really done wonders for all of us and our lives. Science has discovered laws, has invented many new products. Engineers, doctors, and scientists have made a number of gadgets and appliances for use at homes, in offices or in industries. Without science it is difficult to imagine what our life would be like.

Science continues to make our life easier, healthier and safer. Long ago people lived in darkness in the night and did not much know about other countries. Now people have flown to the Moon.  The enormous development on the Earth has been possible due to dedicated scientists and sharing of knowledge.

When I say science, it means mathematical, physical, chemical, biological and medical sciences.  The way we use Science, leads to some important side-effects effects: global warming, pollution, chemical weapons etc.  Unfortunately, science cannot prevent these side effects and potential risks.

In future science will advance more in each area and will contribute to improve quality of our life in each small aspect. Advances in medical science are making our life span longer and healthier.  Use of energy and resources will hopefully become rational and more efficient.  We will be able to eat high quality food and drink high quality water.

In future the science will make the man do wonders that are perhaps not possible to imagine now. Huge amounts are being invested on scientific researches.  More and more jobs and professions may evolve due to science.

Is the man going to help the mankind more in future? At times one wonders if science will make our life more complicated.  It is a good question that only future can answer.

    Atomic energy can be used effectively for constructive purposes. It can turn a desert into a fertile land. It can also be used in curing some incurable diseases, if scientific research is properly made in this respect.

    Thus, science and technology can make the human civilization perfect in all respect.

Science is a systematic way which involves observation and experimentation in order to get knowledge and improve skill; whereas, technology is the practical application of science which helps in improving the quality of life.
New inventions in the field of science and technology play great role in the daily lives of people and making their life style advance. Advancement in the science and technology in many areas has made the lives of people more advance than the ancient time. Advancement in the science and technology is directly and positively affecting the people’s way of living on one hand however it is also affecting indirectly and negatively on the people’s health on the other hand. New inventions in the field of science and technology are very necessary in such a modern world for a country to be strong and well developed country than other countries. Science is interesting because it is very joyful to learn our world around us. We can know about the our universe , our body , plants feature , kinds of organisms and much more . It includes biology , chemistry and physics . Science is very easy that anyone can learn and understand it and can use it for research . Everyone can be benefited by this . Through the biology we can able to know about our surrounding . Biology also tell us about us . Our human system , the structure of plants and animals . We study different organs in our body . We can know about our each body organs system and functions such as heart transfer as blood . Now the subject is Chemistry . We use chemical in every our work . Also with the help of these subject we can even make machines , robots . We also can find the way how to reduce pollution ( air pollution , water pollution , soil pollution , and noise pollution ) . Science has changed human life altogether. The fabrics that we wear are manufactured in the factories. The machines that we use in everyday life, are manufactured in most parts of the world. The cookers, the coolers, the refrigerators, radio-sets, television-sets, cameras, telephones, wireless systems, telescopes, microscopes and other such instruments have become sources of human comfort, Man may converse with his friends and relatives living thousands of miles away. Searches related to importance of science and technology in our daily life We have seen the pictures of the planets reach our earth through space by electronically-fitted cameras. A man sitting on earth may see the surface of the mars millions of miles away in space. The buses, ships, airplanes, scooters and even bicycles have minimised distance to a greater extent. To reach New York from Delhi is a matter of hours. We know of the vast caravans of traders trekking their very through the deserts of Rajasthan and Iran to the distant places such as Greece and Turkey in medieval times. People used to walk or ride the beasts of burden upto thousands of miles to sell their goods. There were boats, but today there are ships of the modem size that bring thousands of tonnes of goods to various countries easily.
