We know that a cricle has 360o, so 60o would represent 1/6th of the length (circumference) of the circle.
now,
le the resistance of whole ring i.e. 2πR be r.
therefore the resistance of wire between points A and B is r/6
and the resistance of rest part of ring is 5r/6
now as these two resistances are in parallel combination
therefore equivalent resistance will be
1/req = 1/r/6 + 1/5r/6
thus, we have
req = 5r/36....
