EXPERTS PLS ANSWER

Dear Student,

A) Raw materials and money are considered to working capital. In case of the farmers of Palampur, the working capital were HYV seeds and well developed system of irrigation.

B) Modern farming methods require the farmers to set up tubewells for irrigation, and made use of HYV seeds, chemical fertilizers and pesticides in farming, farm machinery like tractors and threshers, which made ploughing and harvesting faster. These come at a cost higher than the traditional cost because they reward with high yields of wheat than the traditional methods which were labour intensive and applied for only subsistence. Hence the modern methods are more effecient and the value of technology is higher than the ancient technology.
