After the death of two insects, one of the insect was buried in hot mud and the other in usually found mud. Which of the two is more likely to be preserved better and why?

Usually found mud will not  degrade the dead body of insect faster and  let it more preserved than in hot mud.  Higher the temperature, more will be the speed of decomposition. So, insect buried in usually found mud is likely to be found better preserved than the insect buried under hot mud.

hot nud one because in hot mud the insect would not decompose fast enough. when the mud would cool its remains would be untouched and unharmed and hence better preserved than the other one
