and other angle be 180-x

thus, one angle = x= 100

and other angle = 180-x=180-100=80

The sum of two angles is equal to 180 Deg is known as supplementary angles.

Let us suppose one the angle is A, the other angle is 4/5*A

So A + 4/5*A = 180

5A + 4A/5 = 180

9A = 180 * 5

9A = 900

A = 900/9

A = 100.

So one angle is 100 Deg, then the other angle = 100 * 4/5 = 400/5 = 80 Deg.

Ans.: The angles are 80 & 100 Deg.
