Hi Yatee Kapoor, The average is useful when the data is huge just like here only six innings score is given but if we want to estimate how many run he has scored on an average in all the matcheshe has played then central value played an importent role
Let's take an other example , the pocket money that you get from your parents is not fixed some day it may be Rs
 500 or somne day it may 600 or 700 or 200or 5000 etc
But if we want to find out the approx average pocket money of yours till now then central value is the valuethat is the answer
