The Bishop's kind heartedness generosity and compassion revived/ reserrected the convict's faith in God and goodness.He saw in himself a changeb from a beast to a human being.The urge to start a fresh life of stirred his heart but before that he wanted the blessing of the Bishop who had completely affected/ changed his life and thinking and transformed him into a good human being.
