Bring out  the irony in the frog's statement - your song must be your own.

The frog tells the nightingale that her song must be her own while he himself does not let her use her skill and talent in this field. He has restricted her entire freedom and that is when the irony occurs. In the beginning when the nightingale confesses that her song was original he immediately demeans her and tells her that it was nothing to boast about. Then after killing the nightingale, the frog puts the blame on the nightingale saying that she should have been original.

The irony in this statement is that the frong is suggesting the nightingale this line but he is only the one who's song is not his own.

  • Here the Frog is Quite jealous of the nightingale's song. The frog thinks that he is the only creature in this Bog who sings very well and has A sweet voice but After hearing the nightingale's voice ,he could'n digest the truth that the nightingale could sing better than him.So he gives some lecture about himself that he has prepared many songs And one should have his own song at time of singing.

I hope its enough!

Plz tell Me !!!

the irony is dat d frog was trying to show his superiority n experience. although he was appriciating d nightingale but actully he was trying to demoralise her by pointing out her mistake telling dat her song wasnt original as his songs use to b.

The Frog and the Nightingale brings out the irony of a situation
where a talented person lives in constant awe and fear of the most crude, uneducated,
unscrupulous, unsophisticated person who for vested interests imposes himself / herself
to the great dismay of the talent and or loss to the ignorant audience.

in the beginning when the nightingale felt proud that it was its own song .the frog criticized the nighttingale by saying that there is nothing to boast about ....bt later on when the frog puffes its lungs and died the frog remarked thet "ur song must be ur own"...............it is ironiacal that the frog contradicted its own statement ..........
