can anybody help me in plotting graph interpret (NCERT book page 106 table 8.4 and 107 8.5 table) pls. pls. pls let me know how to draw its graph?
Dear Student
You can easily plot these graphs by considering time at x axis and distance at y axis.
If you find a straight line as graph then motion is uniform other wise it is non uniform motion. Speed can be calculated with help of graph.
Speed is equal to slope of distance - time graph. For uniform motion slope is always constant for any time interval.
For non uniform motion, you can calculate the speed in particular time interval.
Please find the plotted graph and interpretation of graph of table 8.5 below.
As the plot here is nearly straight so we can assume that motion is uniform for both.
Velocity of Feroz can be interpret from graph as 36 -0 /8.20 -8.00 = 36 km/20 min = 1.8 km / min
Velocity of Sania can be interpret from graph as 36 -0 /8.25 -8.00 = 36 km/25 min = 1.44 km / min
Now you can try table 8.4 yourself. Do reach us in case of any doubts.
