Can uniform linear motion be accelerated ? Why or Why not?

well i will ans u in parts first motion in sense means not in the state of rest = it has some speed or u can say velocity .

also linear means in a single linewhen a body's velocity is increasing its called acceerated motion .when that accelaration is not changing with time it is called uniform accelarated motionwhen a body travels with uniform accelaration in a straight line its what u asked

Yes uniform linear motion be also accelerated . Because of following examples.

1) Uniform Linear MotionNot Acclerated:- A body is moving 5m in 5s

in this case it is not acclerated because the direction in which the body does not given if the direction is not given the we can say that the body is not acclerated.

2)Uniform Linear MotionAcclerated:- A body is moving at a speed of 5m in 5s in north-west

in this case it is acclerated because the direction in which the body is given if the direction is given variable then we can say that the body is acclerated.
