Gaston, in this play, has been shown to be a very straightforward person. At the beginning we see how clearly he mentions that he is by no way interested in spending a fortune on buying a villa in which his wife’s parents could stay. He is also an opportunist as he takes advantage of the situation to break a great deal and earn a hundred thousand francs of it. He earns this huge profit which shows that he is a better and cleverer business man than Juliette.

Gaston 's character was that of a witty,clever and a selfish man.He doesn 't care about other 's feelings but jumps on every opportunity that earns him wealth.He is a specimen of meanness ,greediness ,craftiness ,cleverness and dishonesty.He is non co-operative and uncaring for his wife.He is a cheater in striking a deal with Mrs.Al Smith,who was a careless lady,in a hurry to buy the villa.Through his greed ,craftiness and black villany nature he has made 1,00,000 francs without spending a single penny.

Gaston is a Hypocrite.He is selfishand he doesn't have family value.He only thinks about money.He is full of humour and he is quick at decisions and he is a admirable charecter.

gaston is very shrewd and impatient .he is money-minded. He is very witty..He always tries to hurt others by his unpleasant words.
