Mrs. packletide the main character of the story was a woman with jealousy ,she never wanted other to be superior in front of her.Thats what happened with her which made intention in her mind to shoot the tiger like loona bimberton did.The intention of becoming Nimrod (mighty hunter) the great grand son of Noah as mentioned in Bible came when loona bimberton killed a tiger and was carried 11 miles in an aeroplane by an algerian aviator talking of tiger skin all the way and getting clicked a full harvest of photographs which made her famous.She could even go to heights to show loona down by making her success insignificant by showing of her tiger skin which she was about to get after shooting .She was very ill-mannered and showed off often ,also tried to let others down.

mrs. packletide was a very competitive woman, who cud go to any extent to outshine her rivals, especially loona bimberton. she was a vry flaunty nd hollow character. her movements and motives were largely goverened by dislikes of loona bimberton, not by love or hunger. she was a fame seeker. when it comes to spending money, mrs packletide was cockamamy. she spent worthlessly on hunting an old and infirm tiger to show her mark.
