chech whether 7/6 can be an empirical probability or not. give reasons.

Suppose we perform an experiment and let n be the total number of trials.
The empirical probability of happening of an event E is defined as 
P(E) = number of trials in which the event happenedtotal number of trials
Now from the definition it is clear that P(E) 1 since total number of trials is always greater or equal to the number of trials in which the event happened

Hence 76 cannot be an empirical probability since number of trials in which the event happened cannot exceed the total number of trials

Note:- Empirical probability cannot be greater than 1
