chemical reaction between zinc and sulphuric acid

@ hello birina,

zinc is a transition metal and unless told otherwise often in roman numerals, all transition metals have a charge of 2+ and hence we can write the balanced chemical equation

Zn + H2SO4 --------> ZnSO4 and H2

acid and a metal always produced a salt (ionic compound) and hydrogen gas........

hope this helps you........!! Cheers @ thumps up........!!

Zn + h2so4 = znso4 + h2

the displacement reaction takes place between this two reactants . zinc displaces hydrogen from ots salt solution.
