1) In Union Carbide plant in Bhopal, safety systems were manual and to detect gas leaks there were no modernized equipments as the management relied on human senses which could not compete or detect the same during the time of accident
2) Emergency evacuation measures were non – existent in Bhopal and as a result, thousands of poor workers lost their lives or became sick
3) In this Carbide plant, safety equipments installation was considered as cost cutting method by the management which is one of the causes for the accident
