1. Construct a square of side equal to 7.5cm
  2. Construct a rhombus of side 5cm and one of its angles equal to 30*?
  3. Construct a parallogram ABCD in which AB=7cm,AD=5cm,and <A=45*?
  4. Construct a parallogram ABCD in which AB=7cm,AC=10,and BD=8cm{Remember that the diagonals bisect each other.}?

Meritnation experts please answer my questions....................

1.

Follow the steps to construct the square.

Step 1: Draw a line segment AB = 7.5 cm.

Step 2: Construct 90° angle at A and B.

Step 3: With A as centre and radius = 7.5 cm, mark an arc which intersect the ray through A in D.

Step 4: With B as centre and radius = 7.5 cm, mark an arc which intersects the ray through B in D.

Step 5: Join CD.

Here, ABCD is a square with side 7.5 cm.

3.

Follow the given steps to draw the parallelogram.

Step 1: Draw a line segment AB = 7 cm.

Step 2: Draw an angle ∠BAE = 60° at A.

Step 3: With A as centre and radius 5 cm, mark an arc which intersect AE in D.

Step 4: With D as centre and radius 7 cm, mark an arc.

Step 5: With B as centre and radius 5 cm, mark an arc which intersect the previous arc in C.

Step 6: Join CD and BC.

Here, ABCD is the required parallelogram.

To construct any quadrilateral, at least 5 elements are required.

1. In a square all sides are equal and all angles are equal to 90 degree.

2. In a rhombus all sides are equal.

3.Your 3rd question is incomplete.

4. I did not get the answer to this question, but i think it is not possible since 5 elements are not given.

FOR 4TH ONE IT IS POSSIBLE . LET THE MEETING POINT OF DIAGONALS BE O . AO IS 5 CM AND BO IS 4 CM . CONSTRUCT THE TRIANGLE AOB . NOW OC IS 5 CM AND OD IS 4 CM . CONSTRUCT THE TRIANGLE COD . NOW JOIN THE POINTS .
