Dear experts,
molar conductivity= conductivity * volume
So, if conductivity is directly proportional to concentration of electrolyte, how can molar conductivity be inversely proportional to concentration? Besides, even if it is, then at zero concentration, shouldmolar conductivity become infinite?
Concentration is basically amount of solute in the given amount (volume) of solution.
i.e.
Thus, higher the volume of the solution, lesser will be its concentration.
So, concentration is inversely proportional to the volume.
i.e.
Thus, higher the volume of the solution, lesser will be its concentration.
So, concentration is inversely proportional to the volume.
