CCE is also known as continuous and comprehensive evaluation. With the implementation of the CCE or the continuous and comprehensive evaluation , many changes were brought to the education system suddenly! Sme of the students feel it as a boon and some as a bane.

AGAINST

Education has always been a great factor in determining human survival and success. Whether it is learning to live in a harsh environment or learning to manage a company, education is and always will be incredibly significant. Education is so important in modern society that a system of grades has been developed to evaluate students of all ages and levels. In Paul Goodman 's essay "A Proposal to Abolish Grading" he argues that the grading system that is commonly used in our society is ineffective and should be done away with. This idea is correct since there are many negative outcomes that result from the current grading system. YOU BEGIN TO LOSE THE URGE TO STUDY AS there r probably NO BOARDS AND LESS PORTIONS..DUE TO GRADING AN AVERAGE STUDENT AS WELL AS A TOPPER WILL BE PLACED IN THE SAME RANK.it reduces d level of competition among very good student. This kind of system doesn 't help d student to prepare himself / herself for any kind of competition to be faced in d future.

This attitude of caring more about grades than education can undermine instructors ' pedagogical goals, inhibit effective communication of feedback from instructor to student, and can also discourage the development of students ' independent thought and internal sources Think twice, should the education authorities really enforce competition among children? In addition, the grading system does not encourage students to study for the pursuit of knowledge.

The most basic point is that CCE can prove to be dangerous because students will take studies casually. If there won 't be any competition all students won 't study sincerely. Our education system needed improvement but such a random change would never help instead it will do the opposite. If the same system would have been introduced gradually it would have been better. But now most of the students have come to think that acting smartly in front of the teacher is the key to success. Studies are taken as secondary. As a result scores are dropping in all schools. Also teachers are getting more powers which they can always use unfairly and to some extent "partially".

yes, cce by cbse will bring in lethargy and in the long run India would lose the competive edge in software, cce should have been integrated in such a way that our core strength is not dilluted,it should only address our weakness like research programmes, new areas in education and helping students to choose courses according to their areas of interest
