  • unemployment-unemployment is another cause of poverty .Those who remain unemployment for one reason or the other both in rural and the urban areas are forced to lead the life of want and hunger.
  • The benefits of the country's growth have not trickled down to the common people.
  • Huge disparity in the ownership of the land holdings in rural areas.
