Describe the work of farmer with 1 hectare land?

If a farmer wants to cultivate on one hectare of land, the working capital itself will cost him a minimum of Rs/- 3000. Besides seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, he need cash to buy water and repair his farm instruments. If he doesn 't have the money required, he has to borrow money at 24 percentage interest for 4 months. He also has to promise to work on the moneylender 's field as a farm labourer during the harvest season for low wages. Besides these, he also has to work on his own land. Last, ultimately, life becomes miserable for him.

the standard unit of measuring land is hectare.people are suffering a lot of problem who is working in 1 hectare of land. a small farmer knows that he cannot meet his both ends just by working in a small piece of land. so after working on his own land he has to work in large farmers as a farm labourer for a petty amount 35-40 per day. and he also needs the various inputs required for the farming such as chemical fertillizer, pesticides, seeds etc.... so they cannot arrange their capital. so they face lots of problem.

A farmer with 1 hectare of land shall put under the category of small farmer. Most of the work would be done by the farmer and his family members. The farmer will normally use a pair of bullocks to plough the field. His family members would assist him in sowing the seeds. During harvest time, he may require to hire some labourers.

If a farmer owns 1 hectare of land than he practises subsistence farming and comes under the category of a small farmer. The minimum capital for a small farmer is 3000/- which he does not have. So he takes a loan from moneylenders and big farmers at high interest. The moneylenders or big farmers force/pressurize the small farmers to repay the loan which puts them to depression and they work in the farms of big farmers for free or at very less wages.
