Farm system in India

Farm system in USA

1.

Farmer possess land of about 1.5 hectares

In USA, average farm is about 250 hectares

2.

The farmer purchases high yielding variety of seeds every alternate year

The farmer resides in the farm and grows corn in his fields

3.

He grows 2 crops in a year which are mostly wheat and rice

He grows major crops like corn, soyabean, wheat, cotton, sugarbeet

4.

He ploughs the field through tractor which he gets through rent and also irrigates his field through rented tube well from the nearby field

He take adequate measures to control pests in his crops, sends soil samples to laboratory, and his computer is linked to satellite which in turn helps to use chemical fertilizers whenever it is required

5.

He approaches cooperative societies for buying HYV seeds and farm implements

He uses tractors, seed drills, leveller, combined harvester, thresher to perform agricultural operations

6.

Since the farmer do not have enough storage facilities they are forced to sell the produce even when the market is not favourable to them

Grains are stored in automated grain storage and later despatched to market agencies. In USA, famer works like businessman

as  far  i  think

USA is  commercially  strong  country  the  people  of  USA are  very  hard working . While  cultivatng  or  planting  crops  they  use  the  most  advanced  tools  and  machines  the  farmers  in  USA  are  very  rich  and  litterate  people  of  USA  donot  consider  farming  a  thing  of  embaressment  or  insult . If  u  visit  USA  the  lands  where  crops  are  cultivated  are  very  big .

While  in  india  lands  are  very  small . It  is  due  to  rule  that  from  the  fathers  property  each  son  will  get  one  part . so  if  father  has  big  land  and  it  is  divided  between  4  sons  then  automatically  the  land  will  be  small .  if  the  first  son  is  going  to  set  up  a  factory  in  his  land  then  other 3  brother  will  have  while  farming

in  india farming  is  considered  a  think  of  embaressment . From  a  many  years  infact  today  also  people think  that  the  farmers  are  illiterate  and  poor . when  we  think  about  farmer  a  thin  man  holding  a  spade  in  the  field  and  then  digging  it  if this  the  image  of farmer  in india  how  can  we  think  going  to  better  country  catagories  list . farmers  will not  provide  us  with   food  how  can  we  alive .
