Monera Protista
They are prokaryotic. They are eukaryotic.
It includes bacteria It includes some algae, protozoa and early fungi.
They are unicellular It can be unicellular or multicellular.

Monera

Protista

  • Absence of a well-defined nucleus or membrane-bound organelles
  • Absence of multicellular body designs [All are unicellular.]
  • Presence or absence of a cell wall
  • Autotrophic or heterotrophic mode of nutrition.
  • They are unicellular eukaryotic organisms.
  • They can be autotrophic or heterotrophic.
  • Some members have cilia or flagella, which helps in locomotion.

This kingdom includes mainly bacteria and blue-green algae (cyanobacteria).

It includes protozoa such as Amoeba and Paramecium, diatoms, and slime moulds.

Hi,

Kingdom Monera is mainly made up of prokaryotic organisms and kingdom protista is mainly made up of eukaryotic organisms.

Monera

1. Monerans are unicellular organisms’ exhibiting prokaryotic cellular organization.

2. Reproduction is only by asexual means.

3. They usually do not possess cilia, flagella, pseudopodia (except some bacteria).

Ex. Bacteria, Cyanobacteria.

Protista

1. Protista are unicellular organisms but exhibit eukaryotic cellular organization.

2. Reproduction is by both asexual and sexual methods.

3. They possess these structures for modify.

Ex. Unicellular algae, diatoms, protozoans.

Hope it helps you.
