differences between natural and synthetic fibres.

Hi,
Depending on the origin of a fiber, it can be classified as natural or synthetic. The fibers obtained from plants and animals are called natural fibers. Examples of natural fibers include cotton, jute, wool, and silk. Usually natural fibers tend to wrinkle and crease more easily than artificial fibers. They breathe more easily and respond to change in temperature and different climates.
On the other hand, those made artificially, using chemicals, are known as synthetic fibers. Rayon, nylon, acrylic, and polyester are examples of the same. Synthetic fibers are not as porous as natural fibers and are also not as good as an adsorbent. However they wrinkle less and have fewer creases.
Hope this answer helps,
Cheers !!
