DO YOU THINK THAT TRIBES HAVE BEEN GIVEN A FAIR POSITION IN OUR SOCIETY AFTER INDEPENDENCE ?

It is known that Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes have been, for centuries have been facing negligence and exploitation due to the prevalence of caste system in he Hindu society.  Despite the constitutional declaration of  abolition of untouchability under Article 17 of the Constitution, it still persists.

1.Atrocities against the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes and untouchability still continues even after so many ears of independence.
2.T
he Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes. still suffer landless ness.Their economic condition is still not improved.A wide gap of economic exploitation exists between them and the general caste.

3.Allocation of funds for the development and welfare of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes over the years has not been sufficient. They still lags behind in all spheres education, health etc.and their standard of living is still low.

From the above discussion, it is clear that
Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes have not been given a fair position in our society even after independence.
