स्वच्छ  विद्यालय और स्वच्छ  भारत, एक बढिया विचार है। इस  से हिंदुस्थन  और  हिन्दुस्थानियों  का  भलाई  होगा।  यह सही समय है कि हम पूरे देश भर  की इस समस्या का हल निकालें ।

        2 अक्टोबर 2014 को प्रधान मंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने  स्वच्छ भारत  अभियान का  शुभ आरंभ  किया।  महात्मा गाँधी का  यह एक सपना था कि  सब  भारत वासी स्वच्छता के बारे में सीखें और उसका अमल करें।  वे पर्यवरण को साफ रखने में काफी ध्यान देते थे।  

    अगर सब नागरिक छोटे और  बड़े अपने घर को और आसपास  के जगहों को साफ रखें तो बीमारियाँ फैलना बंद हो जायेंगी। हमारा घर, मुल्क, और देश सुन्दर दीखेंगे।  सफायी के मामले में हम हिंदुस्तानी विदेशी वासियों से बहुत पीछे हैं। भारत को स्वच्छ और साफ रखने से हमारे पैसे, जो अस्पतल में और दवाइयों के लिये खर्च कराटे हैं,  बच जायेंगे ।  हम देश को विकास की और ले जा सकेंगे।   सफाई और स्वच्छता  भारत के सभी नागरिकों  की एक सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी बनती है। 

   स्वच्छ भारत से सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य और सफाई  बढ़ेंगे  और गरीबों के पैसे भी  बचेंगे।  इस से  भारत की  आर्थिक स्थिति में सुधार होगा।  सिर्फ दो घंटे हर हफ़्ते  लगाना है हमें  इस काम में।   स्वच्छ भारत में  लोग ना गंदगी करेंगे और ना करने देंगे । 

    विद्यालयों में छोटे बच्चे सफाई और स्वास्थ्य के बारे में सीखते हैं। गंदगी, कूड़ा, और कचरे से होनेवाले  नुकसान भी समझते हैं।  विद्यार्थी  बडे  हो कर जब  नागरिक  बन  जायेंगे, तब भारत को स्वच्छ और साफ रखेंगे। विद्यार्थियों को सवास्थ्य के बारे मे जानकारी होने से वे अच्छे संस्कार भी सीखेंगे।  और अपने परिवार के स्वास्थ्य के  बारे में भी जागरूक रहेंगे।  

   विद्यालयों में  विद्यार्थियों को  सब  कुछ  साफ रखने  की  आदत  पड  जाती है, तब वे बिना बताये  ही अपनी जगाह के साथ साथ असपास के जगहों को भी साफ और सुन्दर रखने का जिम्मेदारी ले लेंगे।  जहाँ पर सरकार या नगर पालिका अच्छा  प्रबन्धन नहीं कर पाती है, वहां  कुछ स्वैच्छिक संस्थानों  को सफाई  के  कम  सौंपना  चाहिये।  इन संस्थानों को कुछ नाममात्र भुगतान भी दिया जा सकता है। 

     हमें  गावों में और ज्यादा  शौचालय बनाने होंगे।  इस में नगर मुनिसिपलिटी और पंचायत की विशेष  भूमिका है। भारत की स्वच्छता की यह  कोशिश  मानव  शृंखला  बनकर  और  बढ़ेगा।  अखबार, टीवी और रेडियो पर प्रसारणों और चर्चाओं लोगों की जानकारी बढ़ेगी ।  कुछ  सालों के बाद हिंदुस्तान पश्चिमी देशों  जैसे एकदम बढिया और सुन्दर हो जाएगा।  यह   मेरी आशा है।

Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan: Ek Kadam Swachhata Ki Ore

Mahatma Gandhi communicated a quintessential message to the nation through his efforts to educate people around him about cleanliness. He wished to see a "Clean India" where people work hand in hand to make the country clean. To work seriously towards this vision of Gandhiji, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi - External website that opens in a new window launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan - External website that opens in a new window on October 2, 2014 and asked people from all walks of life to help in successful implementation of this mission.

The mission seeks to achieve the goal of Clean India in next five years so that the 150th birth anniversary of Bapu can be celebrated as an accomplishment of this duty. Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan - External website that opens in a new window exhorts people to devote 100 hours every year towards the cause of cleanliness. As many as nine public figures: Mridula Sinha, Sachin Tendulkar, Baba Ramdev, Shashi Tharoor, Anil Ambani, Kamal Hasan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Team Tarak Mehta ka Oolta Chashma - have been invited by the PM to make a contribution towards Swachh Bharat, share the same on social media, and invite nine other people to do the same, hence forming a chain. People also asked to share their contributions on social media using the hash-tag #MyCleanIndia.

  A step towards cleanliness

A registered participant will first take a pledge and thereafter challenge nine more people to take up the task of cleaning their surroundings. The Swachh Bharat community will keep on adding up the number of volunteers who will execute the mission successfully in their respective locations. The aim of all these activities is to connect as many people as possible with the mission to create a mass movement for fulfilling Gandhiji's clean India dream by 2019.

A Clean India is of utmost importance for promoting the nation as an ideal destination for tourists from across the world.
