explain all consumer rights in detail?

 the following are the rights of the consumers:

1. RIGHT TO BE INFORMED: it means that the consumer has the right to get all the information regarding the goods and services he is receiving like MRP, date of manufacturing , expiry date etc.

2. RIGHT TO CHOOSE: it means the consumer has the right to choose whether to continue ar discontinue the usage of any particular goods and services

3.RIGHT TO SEEK REDRESSAL: it means that the when a consumer is exploited then he has the right to get compensation based an the degree of damage done.

4.RIGHT TO REPRESENT: it means that the consumer has the right to represent himself in consumer courts or consumer forums when some unfair practise is done and the consumer is exploited.
