Flagella are structures that extend out from the surface of the cell and are used for movement. They are composed of micro tubules or fibrils. Nine pairs of micro tubules arranged in a circular manner and one pair is situated in the middle running down the center. This is the fibril arrangement of flagella in eukaryotic cell.
