Explain with a experiment that moving air provides a lift

Dear Student!

A region in which wind is flowing, is always a low pressure zone. Take two balloons and hang them at some distance. Now, keep a fan in between them, such that air can be flown in the region between these balloons (and not directed towards balloons). When you switch on the fan, you can observe that these balloons tends to move towards each other rather than getting blown away.  It happens because pressure in the zone between them is heavily reduced, due to high speed wind, but pressure on the other side is normal. Hence balloon tends to move from high pressure to low pressure zone.

A common example is of a hut whose roof is blown away in storm as the pressure inside the hut is normal, but pressure outside is reduced (less than normal), which causes an upward push to the roof and then it is blown away with storm.

Hope it is clear!
Good luck!!
