b. Some of the heroes associated with tribal revolts in the 20th century were Alluri Shee Rama Raju , who led the tribals of Andhra Pardesh in their call for Swaraj and non cooperation. Tribals were affected by the colonial policies as they could not enter the reserved forests, they could not collect fuel wood from forests, were not allowed to graze cattle. Raju emerged as their hero and claimed that he had special powers and talked of the greatness of Mahatma Gandhi, he was inspired by the Non-Cooperation Movement.
