Yes, hitesh and guru prasad have provided the corret answer.Genes are located on chromosomes; behavior of chromosomes and genes is therefore similar during sexual reproduction.

chromosome is a  threadlike strand of DNA in the cell nucleus that carries the genes in a linear order 

SO definately behaviour of gene will b the behaviour of the chromosome

 genes and chromosomes have the similar behaviour. It can be justified through the followingpoints--->

1. Since they both are an integral part of one another its obviously the behaviour will be the same in both the cases.

2. Both of them are linked to the functioning of heredity in the body of an organism.

3. They carry the heredity information in the cell of an organism.

So in this way it is justified that it wud be certainly similar due to their integral behaviour
