Communion meets the coming together of two objects or people. Mountains are one of the tallest or highest landforms on Earth which seem to touch the sky. Therefore, it becomes very apparently clear that Mountains can touch the sky and thus heaven. This assumes that the mountains are a way to reach the eternal entity, God. Mountains have always been considered to be symbolic objects of power and spiritual reverence. Even the New Testament talks about Jesus’s transfiguration.
