Give some examples each of acidic, basic and neutral salt .

A neutral salt is a salt which is prepared by the action of a strong acid and a strong base. For example NaCl. It is prepared from NaOH which is a strong base and HCl which is a strong acid.

HCl + NaOH → NaCl + H2O

Other examples include KCl, CaSO4 etc

An acidic salt is a salt which is prepared by from a strong acid and a weak base. An example of such salt is NH4Cl.

HCl + NH4OH → NH4Cl + H2O

Ammonium hydroxide is a weak base, hydrochloric acid is a strong acid.

A basic salt is a salt which is prepared from a weak acid and strong base. An example of such salt is sodium acetate which is prepared from sodium hydroxide and acetic acid.

CH3COOH + NaOH → CH3COONa + H2O
