Give the character sketch of jacopo and nicola.

Both the boys ' behavior seemed very innocent and childlike. Their smile was steady and engaged people in their stare. They were also jovial and full of energy whenever the author met them. They were not disguised to act as someone else. This was the reason why the author calls them both 'childish ' and 'artless '. Nicola and Jacopo were truly called as the two gentlemen as they both were truly disciplined and noble to the core of their characters. After their father died in the war and they became homeless, they were very mature to have taken up every possible odd jobs to earn money. They were performing duties and taking up responsibilities of themselves and their sister just like any parent would. They were very hard working and honest and also, never lost any chance to earn money. They also visited their ill sister occasionally who was being treated for tuberculosis of spine.

hope this hlpzz :)

Nicola the elder one in the two and is quite serious than Nicola.Nicola and Jacopo are both equally hard working and have dedication towards their work. The two gentlemen of Verona were the two poor boys .They were truly gentlemen .They never gave up ,never asked for help and didn't accept the pity of the two visitors .They had their self respect in them .They never gave up the spirit of living .They helped the two visitors in every possible way ,which we often see gentlemen doing .They didn't tell the visitor about their plans .They did not want to expose it as the gentlemen do .They were very helping .They also loved their sister who was admitted in hospital . They were very poor but they visited the hospital every weekend and paid the hospital charges from the money which they earned through various works they did .They were truly the two gentlemen.

Nicola and Jacopo lost their mother at very young age, they had a sister called Lucia. They were brought up by their father, who was a well-known singer bht was killed in the war. to add fuel to their misery a bomb blast shortly after the war destroyed their home. thus they were thrown into the streets. The three children were always known for a comfortable and cultured life and Lucia was learning to become a singer. The two brothers supported their family. They made their own shelter and were ready to do any job to look after their sister.

When they knew that Lucia was suffering from Tuberculosis of spine, they admitted her in a hospital. They were very punctual to pay the hospital fees. in their support and care Lucia progressed a lot in twelve months time.

Devotion, love and sacrifice are the qualities of the two boys that brought them to success.

A person cannot be judged by the awkward appearance as a book cannot be judged by its cover. Here in this story, the two boys looked shabby and untidy which made the driver disapprove them. However, the author's interest on them increased on finding them indulging in all sorts of odd jobs with a willingness. Their sincerity, devotion and dedication towards the work to meet the medical expenses of their sister were appreciable. Though the boys indulged into a variety of jobs to earn money, they did not want to spend the money on themselves. The qualities shown by the boys made them gentlemen.

Hope this helped!
