Green and red colour of seeds are recessive and dominant trait respectively. Out of F1 and F2, in which generation will the green seed appear, if both are not hybrid. Explain by giving reason?

Let us denote symbols for alleles.
Allele responsible for red colour of seed (Dominant trait) - G
Allele responsible for green colour of seed (Recessive trait)- g
As dominant characters can be expressed in homozygous condition as well as heterozygous condition. So genotype of red seed producing plants could be GG or Gg. Recessive traits are expressed only in homozygous condition only , so genotype of green seed producing plant is gg

If you mean parents are homozygous by the words 'both are not hybrid' then here is the cross.
Crossing the parents----GG ( red seed) X gg (green seed)
Gametes produced are G and g which fused to give
 F1 generation –Gg
Phenotype of Gg will be red seeds. Thus, in generation F1 all red seeds producing plants are formed.
F2 is obtained on selfing F1
F2--- Gg  X Gg
 Male gametes--G and g
Female gametes—G and g
Punette square for F2 generation
  G g
G GG Gg
g Gg gg
So, green seed producing plants(gg) are produced in F2 generation in ratio of 3: 1
