how are thunderstorms formed? what precautions can we take during a thunderstorm?how does a thunderstorm change to a cyclone?

Thunderstorm :
A storm with lightning and thunder is called a thunderstorm. It is a high speed wind which is formed due to the convection of air in hot and humid areas.

Precautions taken during thunderstorms:
We should stay inside a home or large building, or inside an all-metal vehicle
We should avoid using the telephone, except for emergencies.
We should not stand underneath a natural lighting rod such as a tall, isolated tree
Get out of and away from open water
We should stay away from wire fences, clotheslines, metal pipes, rails and other metallic paths which could carry lightning to you from some distance away.
We should not stand in small isolated sheds or other small structures in open areas.
We know that thunderstorms are electrically charged. Umbrellas mostly contain metal parts which are good conductors of electricity. So we should not carry umbrella.
Formation of cyclone from thunderstorm:
Thunderstorm is a stormy form of weather characterised by frequent lightning and the sound of its thunder. The cloud type associated with thunderstorm is the cumulonimbus. This kind of weather is generally accompanied by heavy rain or hail or sometimes no precipitation at all. A very severe rotating thunderstorm can become a cyclone.

thunderstorms -it is weather condition in which heavy rain is accompanied by thunder and lightning. In hot and humid tropical areas like india. When the air gets heated it rises up carrying moisture along with it.As it reaches a height the moisture condenses into water.Due to the friction between the rising air and the falling droplets the clouds get charged producing heat and light(lightning and thunder)
