HOW BINARY FISSION IN AMOEBA OCCURS?

Hi,

During binary fission, the nucleus of the parent cell elongates and divides initially. Then a constriction starts to appear on the cell membrane, then the constriction starts widening and finally divides the parent cell into two almost equal halves or daughter cells. The daughter cells are identical to the parent cell.

Hope this helps,
Cheers!!
