How did Helen learn that nature is not always kind. chapter 5

One day Helen was with her teacher, Sullivan, for a long walk. It was a fine morning but then it got little warm. Both Helen and Sullivan stopped to rest under a cherry tree which was a short way from the house. The tree was easy to climb and so both climbed the tree. They decided to stay there and have lunch. Miss Sullivan left Helen on the tree and went to bring some food. Suddenly Helen experienced some change. The sky became black and a strange odour came to Helen from the earth. It was an indication to her that a thunderstorm was close by. Helen was scared as she was alone and that too high above the earth. She wanted to get down but could not do that alone. Then a sudden and violent wind began to shake the tree. Just as Helen was about to fall, Sullivan came to her help. This incident made Helen learn that nature was not always kind.
