how do we stop our environment from being polluted
Dear Student,
There are many ways in which we makes our environment polluted. Human activities such as burning of fossil fuels, running of factories and industries release a lot of harmful gases and waste material that pollute the air, water and soil in our environment. We shoul keep a check on such activities. Some of the measures we can take to prevent pollution are as follows:
- Discouraging the use of crackers on Diwali
- Controlling the release of gases from factories
- Controlling forest fires
- Using public transport and car pooling
- Use of CNG in vehicles
- Laws should be made to prevent the usage of water bodies for dumping waste materials
- Care should be taken to avoid excessive usage of chemicals in agriculture
- Steps should be taken to penalize the industries dumping sewage and chemicals in water bodies.
- Avoid dumping wastes in soil
- Avoid cutting trees
- Plant more trees
- Discourage excessive use of fertilizers
