How does the magnetic property of paramagnetic, diamagnetic and ferromagnetic substance differ from eachother?

paramagnetic - These substances are attracted by the external magnetic field. ex- O2, Cu2+, Fe3+.
diamagnetic - These substances are weekly repelled by external magnetic field. ex- C6H6, T2O.
ferromagnetic - these substances show permanent magnetism even in the absence of external magnetic field.
ex- iron, cobalt, nickel etc,......!
