how to calculate the area of quadrilateral ABCD whose sides are 9m, 40m,28m & 15 m

27.

In quad. ABCD,

AB = 9m, BC = 40m,

CD= 28m, AD = 15m

∴Area of quad.ABCD = Area of ΔABC+Area of ΔACD

sorry as i dont have enough tym to show how to solve but i can tell u theoritically

  1. divide quadrilateral abcd in 2 triangles.
  2. then by using herons formula in one triangle i.e. under root s*(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) where  s=1/2 of perimeter of the triangle .
  3. do like this for both the triangles then add the area of both the triangles; and u will get ur answer...

pls thumpzz up 4 me...
