how to present an article? what will be the word limit? wat is the format of wriying it?

The format of writing an article along with a few points to keep in mind are as follows:

TITLE

By Writer’s Name

Body:

Introductory Paragraph – This includes lines which can capture the attention of the reader. The focus of the article should also be summed up here.


 

Middle Paragraph/Paragraphs – This paragraph should contain the vital information providing explanation wherever required.



 

Concluding Paragraph – Conclude the article by putting forward your views and measures to curb the problem.


 

Points to Remember

1.The article must have a catchy title to grab the interest of the reader.

2. The ideas should be systematically presented in short and informative sentences.

3. Present a neutral approach in your article.

4. It should be concise and written as clearly as possible.

5. Although marks are not deducted for exceeding the word limit, an article should be written within 120-150 words.

6. Marks may be deducted for grammatical errors and mistakes in the spellings and punctuation marks.

7. Marks are awarded on the content and expression of the write-up. Therefore, special care should be taken to maintain the coherence, accuracy and fluency of the content.

first write the title in caps....below that put a small line and write your name. your article should answer the 5 w's----- what, when, where,why and who. preferably break it up into 3 paras....the 1st and the 3rd should be short. 1st para- intro, 2nd-body and 3rd- conclusion. make it crisp and dont strike any word.(my teacher cut a mark because of that). the word limit is 150 and if u xceed, they will deduct one mark for every two words......!!!! all the best!!!
