how to solvex  x

It depends upon the type of equation if it is linear in one variable then you may directly find it.
Ex.
x+3=4
x = 1

If it is quadratic equation equation, then for example:
$$\begin{gathered} {\mathrm{x}}^2-4\mathrm{x}+3=0 \\ {\mathrm{x}}^2-3\mathrm{x}-\mathrm{x}+3=0 \\ \mathrm{x}\left(\mathrm{x}-3\right)-1\left(\mathrm{x}-3\right)=0 \\ \left(\mathrm{x}-3\right)\left(\mathrm{x}-1\right)=0 \\ \mathrm{x} = 1,3 \\ \mathrm{The} \mathrm{above} \mathrm{methods} \mathrm{is} \mathrm{middle} \mathrm{term} \mathrm{split} \mathrm{method}, \end{gathered}$$
There are other methods too so kindly refer text book.
