I have to give a speech in school and the topic is from class 9th literature reader Pg mumber 9 question number 8. otherwise I am writing the topic also.....

"After having reading the story you realise the anguish of the illiterate adults. you want to make your friends aware of it and contribute something in bringing about a change in the lives of illiterate adults. deliver a speech in the morning assembly at your school about the Importance Of ADULT EDUCATION and ways to implement it "

Democracy without education is meaningless. It is education and enlightenment that lifts a nation to the heights of progress and greatness. Unfortunately, the situation as it obtains in India in respect of education is not only distressing but disgraceful and deplorable. At present about 60% of the people in India are illiterate; they cannot differentiate a buffalo from a black mole. Adult education is needed because it is a powerful auxiliary and an essential incentive to primary education. No programme of compulsory universal education can bear fruit without the active support and co-operation of adults
social education is needed in order to guide in spending their leisure in healthful recreations and useful activities. Lastly, illiteracy and ignorance is a sin; an illiterate adult is a burden on society. A The difficulties have to be overcome either by cleverness, or by fact or by compromise, or may be, by intentional avoidance. Only then we can hope to spread Adult Education. The purpose of all good teaching is to produce changes in human behavior. All adult education teacher must adopt a positive approach; adult education emancipates people from the tyranny of illiteracy.
[1] Some people, in their early age, did not have the chance to get education for different reasons.When they are old if then, they get education and they can discover themselves in a new way.
[2] Learning is a continuous process, and if adult persons have the continued relationship with knowledge is also important.
{3] Some adult much time to take rest but if they are engaged in learning they can also have fun and friends.
{4] If they are busy something creative jobs, they will never feel boring rather they will feel healthier and happier.
We can implement it by making people people aware of it , starting campaigns and doing surveys .

2. research shows that older people who keep their minds active suffer less dementia and other memory type diseases in old age.
3. in a complex modern economy, workers must be up-to-date on new techniques, and technologies Many people fail to understand that if they don't make the extra effort, they'll never be able to amount to much in life. Some however, after spending a lot of their time as kids fooling around, begin to make the effort to improve their status in life. So being well above thirty or even forty years doesn't matter; anyone can still go back to school to study.
 
It could be any degree that you want. Having missed out on education when you were yet young, still doing school might not look like a good option. However, there are so many adult education programs around, it would spin you in the head just thinking of it. You don't have to give up on your dreamsrelated to their job.

education has been provided only to a few fortunate people in the world and this has widened the gap between few literates and million sof illiterates in the world especially in india.

since the population of the cuontry is so large, it has been a very difficult task to educate all the people in the country. so, the people remain illiterate. most of the people in the country are unprosperous and so, they cannot afford money for the education of their children. thus, people become illiterate.

most of the adults feel miserable in their adulthood because they were not educated when they were young and this makes them embarrases in the public places. some of them also think that because they have attained a certain age, they are too old to be educated. but, this is not true. as long as you are alive, there is still a lot that you can achieve.

one of the biggest achievement for the illiterates who turn literate is that they become independent. they need not depend on ohteres to read or write for them. they can do their work themselves. adult education is also imporatant for the people to begin new ocuupations or professions to earn a lot of money and settle in their life. adult education is important for women for orderly and hygeinic work to be done in the house.

hereby, i conclude my speech by requesting everyone to help and support adult education n all possible ways.

education is part of our life .education means knowledge and it is very important for us.in old time many people can 't get education by different reasons specially girls.now there are many adult people who are not educated and they think that it is not the age for study but we should make them understand that there is no age for study.if they are not educated then they have to depend on others but if they are educated then they will not depend on others and their self confidence will also increse.they can be a good effect on their children by showing them that study can be fun.if they are educated then they can express them selve in a new way.if they are educated then they can utilise their time by reading newspaper ,magzines,stories etc.learning is a countinous process with our life and adult person have the countinue relationship with knowledge is also important.i hope that you all will help me to made adult understand that education is very important and their is no age for study.
