Water resources are being over-utilized due to pressure of population and different requirements like agriculture, industries and household uses. 2. There is acute shortage of water at many places and the water level is also going reducing. Therefore, there is need to harvest rainwater. Rainwater harvesting is the most viable method because it is environmental friendly, low on cost and one of the most significant methods to recharge ground water.
