1. What made Jack realise that the custom of telling his daughter a story, had turned futile?
Answer: Jack had started telling stories to his daughter when she was two years old. She used to listen to the stories and go off to sleep. However, this custom seemed futile now, as she never fell asleep listening to the stories any more.
2. What was unique about the story that Jack told?
Answer: Usually the stories Jack narrated to his daughter had the same plot and story line. The only uniqueness lied in the different characters he used. Though every protagonist in his story was named "Roger", the creature he used was different.
3. How did the wizard solve as well as create problem for Roger?
Answer: When Roger Skunk went to the wizard to ask for help, he changed baby skunk's smell to that of roses. Though this solved Roger's problem, his mother was not happy with it. This created a new problem for him.
