oh in joy I cry out loud
“ Look around you, see all things bright
See nature bathed in bright sunlight
I hear a-sighing thro’ the trees
And know it as a gentle breeze
The dry parched earth it gasps in pain
And lo! Welcome come the drops of rain
And cold it feels the winter chill
Upon the field upon the hill
And all nature’s wonders when I see
Oh what joy wells up in me
In all things I see so fair and fine
In all I see God’s grand design

Nature is mighty
Nature is strong
Nature is usually always right
Nature is rarely ever wrong
Nature is beauty
Nature is moody
Nature is smart
Nature always has the greater part
Nature is blue
Nature is green
Nature is every color possibly seen
Nature is true
Nature is beaming
Nature is dreaming
Nature is in every place
Nature is always with grace
Nature is true
Nature is you
Nature is me
Nature will forever be free.

Sunset at the dawn of a New day
Just watching it melts your stress away.
Waterfalls pouring from a height
Quite an awesome, amazing sight.
Moon and Stars shining so bright
At night, Darkness bears no fright.
On the Beach, the Ocean gently roars
Meditating with it, our spirit soars.
Summer – flowers in the park, squirrels running round
Trying to find any nuts left on the ground.
Nature is so beautiful

Nature's Environment
Beauty of nature, we all love to see,
From tiny insect to exotic tree.
So much life and diversity,
You can learn more, at university.
Our environment, keeps us alive,
We must protect it, for society to thrive.
Creates oxygen, that we all consume,
What's more prettier, than a flower bloom?
We must combat, deforestation,
It is the duty of every single nation.
Let's begin, by fighting pollution,
Think together, to find a solution.
Climate change, we need to control,
What about that ozone hole?
We must remember, to respect and cherish,
If we don't, nature shall perish.

As imperceptibly as Grief
The Summer lapsed away—
Too imperceptible at last
To seem like Perfidy—
A Quietness distilled
As Twilight long begun,
Or Nature spending with herself
Sequestered Afternoon—
The Dusk drew earlier in—
The Morning foreign shone—
A courteous, yet harrowing Grace,
As Guest, that would be gone—
And thus, without a Wing
Or service of a Keel
Our Summer made her light escape
Into the Beautiful.

the color of a childhood book about stars.
My father read it to me on the couch,
took me outside and showed me
the Big Dipper, and the Little Dipper,
and how to find the North Star.
All of this was right in front of our house.
We looked up into the sky until it looked back.
The book said we spin without realizing it.
It told where we are in the Milky Way
but my father and I don't know how we got here.
Neither of us mentions it.
We do not know how to do the math
on astronomical odds as big as that.
By Loueva Smith
Lovely tree,
Yesterday
wild winds of winter combed
your black and twining hair.
When dawn blinked
You emerged
softly capped in ermine,
star-kissed with diamonds.
Wind's sharp breath caught in his throat
and sun, stricken sun,
can't turn his eye from you.

The Hill—the Afternoon—
Squirrel—Eclipse— the Bumble bee—
Nay—Nature is Heaven—
Nature is what we hear—
The Bobolink—the Sea—
Thunder—the Cricket—
Nay—Nature is Harmony—
Nature is what we know—
Yet have no art to say—
So impotent Our Wisdom is
To her Simplicity.
