We have,px = x2 + bx + 6By remainder theorem when px is divided by x -3, then renainder is p3
Now,   p3 = 36⇒ 9 + 3b + 6 = 36⇒3b + 15 = 36⇒3b = 21⇒b = 7Now,px = x2 + 7x + 6=x2 + 6x + x + 6=xx + 6 + 1x + 6=x + 1x + 6
