hi!  given;- 2 pi r = 4a  , where a = side of square.

implies , r/a = 2 / pi

now ratioof thier ares  = pi r2/ a2 =  pi (r/a)2 = pi x (2/pi)2 = 4 / pi

hence ratio is 4 : pi
