if vegetative propogation is non-sexual then why is hybridisation done in plants with sexual charachters?

Vegetative propagation is an asexual method of reproduction. It does not involve any sexual part of the plant such as flowers, no fusion of gametes, no  formation of zygotes. It takes place through vegetative parts of the plants such as stem, root and leaf. This is the reason why it is considered non sexual or asexual.

Hybridisation refers to crossing between two dissimilar plants. It is a method of mixing desirable characteristics from two plant varieties. It is considered sexual when it  involves fusion of gametes from two dissimilar plant varieties.

But there are other types of hybridisation which can be considered asexual  such as somatic hybridisation, about which you will be learning in higher classes.
